Welcome to Prosper

Our research shows that there are inequalities in the levels of funding and inward investment into the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in Wakefield, compared to other localities with similar challenges and demographics. Because we are independent it means we can challenge decisions and influence policies to drive social change.

Driven by a founding vision of investing in community health and wellbeing, we remain one of very few independent organisations in the area, committed to improving people’s lives by tackling the causes of poverty by working with and supporting the Voluntary and Community Sector to deliver vital services.
