Prosper Wakefield District Evolves to Strengthen Impact and Increase Local Support
Following a review of our strategic priorities, Prosper Wakefield District is entering an exciting new phase of development. We are evolving our structure to enhance our impact, increase our operational efficiency and improve services to our existing and future beneficiaries.
This evolution reflects both the changing landscape of the VCSE sector locally and the opportunities ahead. By refining how we work, we are positioning Prosper to respond even more confidently and creatively to the needs of organisations and communities in Wakefield now and in the future.
Our ambitions for this next chapter are clear. Through this evolution we will:
- Have an ambition to increase the scale of our grant giving, reaching more organisations and communities across the district.
- Refine and strengthen our grant programmes, ensuring they are relevant, responsive and impactful.
- Maintain our profile as a leading, independent grant maker in Wakefield, supported by continued development of our communications and engagement.
- Build and deliver strong, well-managed partnerships across the VCSE and statutory sectors, ensuring collaborative programmes are effective and meaningful.
To support this exciting progression, we have appointed:
- Head of Grants – Emma McKee
Emma will lead the continued development of our grant-making strategy, oversee our programmes and ensure our funding reaches organisations where it can make the greatest difference.Emma McKee: 07949 193246
