Jubilee Hall

A chef plates up meals onto crockery

In 2025 we gave Jubilee Hall a grant for £1,700 to support their Meals on Wheels service across the district.

First opened in 1977 and named after the Queen’s Silver Jubilee, Jubilee Hall in Lupset truly is a hub of the community. The Hall runs a cafe, a wide variety of activities including table tennis, dance classes, their meals on wheels service as well as having rooms available for hire.

We asked Jubilee Hall what it means to get a grant from us;

“Staff are both our biggest expense, and most valuable assets. This grant gives us a small cushion against any unexpected expenditure. Following on from a visit to us by Prosper, our staff were really pleased that Prosper get what we’re about, it’s so much more than delivering food. Without this grant, we would have been behind.”
