In October 2022, as a result of the Rocket Science research project, we launched a brave new grant making programme called the Prosper Together Fund, (PTF).
Our research had identified ‘Households on the Edge’ as a priority in the Wakefield district. This term refers to families and individuals who are at risk of falling into poverty, as a result of individual circumstances, including poor mental and physical health, and external economic factors, including the cost of living crisis. PTF gave funds directly to VCSE leaders to offer support to Households on the Edge’. It was game changing!
