In 2021, (under our previous name of Wakefield and District Health and Community Support), we commissioned Rocket Science to deliver a research project to inform the charity’s future grant making strategy. We published the findings in 2022.
The research involved an analysis of all the existing data relating to population health in the Wakefield district; a desk top review of the state of the VCSE sector, including an online survey; face to face interviews conducted by Rocket Science researchers, and our own, home grown community researchers, resulting in impactful real stories and case studies; and a series of in person workshops, to share initial findings and seek further input.
