We are Shortlisted for Collaboration of the Year!

We are delighted to share that Prosper Wakefield District has been shortlisted for Collaboration of the Year at the We Are Wakefield Business Awards 2025 for our work with Wakefield Children’s Bed Appeal.

This recognition means so much to us because we don’t usually put ourselves forward for awards instead, we’re more often found sponsoring and supporting them. To be acknowledged in this way is a huge honour.

The Wakefield Children’s Bed Appeal is a campaign we launched with the Wakefield Community Foundation to ensure that no child in our district has to sleep without a bed of their own. Thanks to the support of our incredible partners, funders, and community champions, we’ve been able to provide hundreds of children with a safe, warm, and comfortable place to sleep.

Being shortlisted is a true reflection of the power of collaboration, what we can achieve when we come together as a community. Whatever the outcome on awards night, we’re proud of what’s already been achieved and grateful to everyone who has supported the appeal so far.

We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed on the big night, and in the meantime, thank you to every single person, business and organisation who has played a part in making this recognition possible.
