A Legacy of 150 Years
Though officially registered in 1950, Prosper Wakefield District’s roots go back much further, to our founding in 1875 as The Hospital Sunday Fund. For the last 150 years, we have been at the heart of Wakefield, adapting, evolving, and staying true to our mission: to support the health and wellbeing of the Wakefield District.
Our Diamond Anniversary Celebrations
We will honour our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to a bright future. To kick things off, we’re unveiling a special 75th-anniversary logo. Designed to reflect both our legacy and the importance of this milestone, it’s a symbol of our enduring commitment to Wakefield.
